| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection/s, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.We accept Visa, Mastercard and Switch. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.NOTE FOR OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS: We display prices in £sterling. When using your credit card, your card company will convert our £sterling price to your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate. |
| Shipping And Handling We use The Royal Mail to deliver our parcels worldwide. Our standard charges are £1 per book in the UK or £2 per book elsewhere (rest of world). |
| Delivery Schedule We aim to despatch within 48 hours of receiving your order. However we do ask you to wait for 28 days 'just in case'! This is to cover times when we are absolutely inunudated with orders and unable to match our 48 hour turnaround. Also we do sometimes sell out of books and the 28 days gives us time to arrange more stock to be delivered. |
| Back Orders We aim to keep everything in stock, but occasionally we can temporarily run out. If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You may cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Please allow 28 days for out of stock orders to be shipped. |
| Tax Charges At the time of publication, books are zero rated for VAT in the UK. Other items may be liable to VAT at the current rate of 17.5%. If you live outside the EU then you are exempt from this tax and so you should check the VAT exemption box. |
| Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. |
