A Massive And
Joyful Defeat For Prescott, For Regionalisation And For The
EU
How appropriate that Prescott's humiliating defeat at the hands of voters
in the North East should have taken place on November 5th - the night when the
British celebrate Guy Fawkes's attempt to destroy Parliament.
The New
Fascist New Labour Government naturally pretended that the unsuccessful attempt
to force a Regional Assembly on the people of the North East was an act of
political generosity on their part. Their line now is that the voters of the
North East have stupidly turned down a great gift.
Politicians and the
national media all carefully avoided the truth; which is that the North Eastern
Regional mini parliament already exists. As do other Regional mini parliaments
around the country. They may be secret. The members may be unelected. But they
already exist.
And both politicians and the national media also
carefully avoided the fact that these new Regional Parliaments are nothing to do
with providing an extra layer of political representation for British voters but
are simply part of the EU's plan to get rid of England and the House of Commons
and to replace the former with nine EU regions and the latter with nine regional
EU parliaments.
The significance of the rout of Prescott cannot be
over-estimated. This was one of the most important votes in Britain's history.
(You wouldn't know this from the way our utterly dishonest media dealt with the
election. Not one TV network ran a programme dealing with the election. Not one
national newspaper put the vote result on its front page the next day. Are
national media editors and correspondents stupid or bent? Dunno. Probably both.
There's a lot of EU money sloshing around these days.)
Europhiles will be
devastated. Their plans are now in tatters.
But they will not, of course,
close down the regional parliaments they have set up.
They will try
again: forcing the electorate to vote again and again until they produce the
`right' answer.
It's our job to make sure that we keep spreading the
truth. Having a fascist British Government is bad enough. Having a fascist
European Government would be even worse.
P.S. Blair must now be
terrified that he will lose the referendum on the EU constitution. My guess is
that the referendum won't even take place. Watch carefully to see if Blair
removes the promise of a vote on the new EU constitution from the Labour Party
manifesto before the next election. If the referendum vote does take place the
question will be as bent as a paperclip. Voters will be asked something like:
`Do you want to live in poverty and fear or would you like to live in comfort
under the new EU constitution?' My prediction is that even with a bent question
Blair will lose the referendum on the EU constitution. Blair will rely on the
votes of the countless millions receiving Government money (either because they
are on the dole or social security or because they are on the Government pay
roll) to win the next election. But most of those voters like the world the way
it is and don't care about Europe. They won't vote `Yes' for the EU constitution
either.
Vernon Coleman's two books on England and the EU are
England Our England and Saving England. Both are available from
the shop on this website and from the shops on other websites. They are also
available from all good terrestrial bookshops. Our mailbag is bulging with
letters from readers who support the sentiments in these two books. Here is just
a tiny sample of quotes from readers' letters about England Our England:
`Congratulations on England Our England. Why does nobody else
have your vigour, conviction and clarity? A brilliant job well done.' J.V.
Bristol
`In the last three weeks I have read England Our
England twice and I have to say that I have never been so frightened.'
A.L. Essex
`I recently read through England Our England.
Although it did my blood pressure no good, I would like to take the opportunity
to thank you for the enormous public service you have done and are doing for
us.' D.H. by e-mail
`Many thanks for outlining the issues in such
simple terms.' T.W. Yorkshire
`My most sincere thanks for all you
are doing for our dear England. You have my full support.' B.J. Somerset
`I greatly enjoyed your book England Our England. Having been an
external, private sector adviser to the European Commission I am impressed by
nearly everything you have said.' D.J. Surrey
`I have just
finished reading, in one session and with mounting admiration leavened with
despair, your estimable work England Our England. I want my country back
and its honourable history preserved.' R.T.C., Kent
`Please
accept this order for 10 copies of England Our England. I believe this is
the most important book you have ever written and if I had the money I would buy
enough copies to drop through every letter box in my area.' A.B. Kent
