Tony Blair's
Legacy
For many years American embassies around the world have needed
special protection. The same has invariably been due of Israeli embassies.
Police guards, concrete blocks and armed soldiers have been needed to protect
these official establishments because of the threat of action being taken
against them by terrorists.
Now, for the first time in my memory, the
same is true of British embassies.
Blair, the war criminal, has made
Britain one of the world's three most hated nations. He has made Britons targets
virtually everywhere.
And this won't change for decades.
Britons
who used to be proud of their nationality must now either ask for armed
protection or hide their flags in their suitcases. Britons who used to be able
to travel anywhere must now lower their voices and do their best to disguise
their nationality.
Blair himself will be fine, of course. He and his
family travel around with armed police protection. Britain's best known war
criminal will doubtless ensure that the protection will continue when he leaves
office. It will be part of his massive pension plan.
Thank you Tony
Blair. Some legacy.
