Offsetting carbon emissions is a joke. What is the point? Surely we should be reducing emissions?

Politicians and millionaire pop stars buy carbon emission offsets in order to `balance' their flying around the world in private planes.

But this doesn't help the planet at all.

Carbon trading is practical hypocrisy.

No wonder Blair is an enthusiastic supporter.
