Climate Change Campaigners Will Kill Themselves
Dr Vernon Coleman MB ChB DSc FRSA
Green energy policies, inspired and controlled by the European Union and silly twelve-year-olds, have done nothing to improve the planet but they have pushed up the prices of energy to such a level that hundreds of thousands of pensioners have to choose between eating and keeping warm.
Figures recently released by Public Health England show that for the last twenty years the estimated number of deaths from heat in the UK runs between one and six for every 100,000 citizens.
But the estimated number of deaths from cold runs between 59 and 82 for every 100,000 people.
Moreover, the official estimate is that if temperatures climb in line with the projections then the estimated deaths in the 2080s will be 7 to 21 per 100,000 from heat and from 28 to 56 per thousand from cold.
It is clear from these (official) figures that the biggest problem facing us is the high price of heating supplies which have already been pushed to unbearable levels by absurd and scientifically unsound climate change policies.
If we stop using fossil fuels, and stick with windmills and solar panels, then the number of people dying from the cold will rocket. And most of those dying will be old.
Todayís young campaigners donít give a fig about the elderly.
But I wonder when they will realise that todayís twelve-year-olds will be pensioners in 2080. And they will be killed by their own stupid energy policies.
My book A Bigger Problem than Climate Change is available as a paperback and an eBook. I do wish those who are enthusiastic about the global warming mythology would read it. Itís full of real facts instead of myths and propaganda.
