Criminally Ignorant Councils

Vernon Coleman

As I have pointed out many times before, councils which insist on tins and jars being washed out are criminally ignorant.

Water is a valuable and expensive commodity.

(Compare the cost of a bottle of water with a bottle of diesel.)

There is a global shortage of clean drinking water.

China, never slow to miss an opportunity, is building dams across rivers and stockpiling water. Our councils are threatening us with the law if we donít waste it.

No one but an ignorant half-wit would suggest that cans and jars be washed out in fresh water.

Those preening and ignorant council employees who demand that water is wasted in this way clearly know and care nothing about the environment, the planet or people living on it.
