An Inconvenient Truth

We bought a DVD of Al Gore's acclaimed study of global warming called An Inconvenient Truth the other day. The DVD case contains a list of things to do to help stop global warming. One of the recommendations is to `avoid products with lots of packaging'.

But here's an embarrassing thing: in addition to its case the An Inconvenient Truth DVD came in an entirely superfluous sleeve. And it was shrink wrapped. Another inconvenient truth.

Despite this, do watch the DVD. It's the most important and the best documentary ever produced. Gore was elected President by the American people but denied the job by the people who run the country.
