Greedy Councils Make Life Grey

Vernon Coleman

Holidaymakers visiting seaside towns might well wonder why there are no ice cream vendors on the beach, why there are no deckchairs to rent, why the telescope on the promenade doesn’t work, why the council-owned tea rooms on the front remains closed and why there are no donkeys giving rides on the beach.

The answer is simple.

Councils everywhere have become greedy.

And councils at the seaside are demanding such huge fees from those eager to provide these services that no one can afford to provide them.

And so life becomes increasingly grey.
