Contraindications To
Vaccination
Drug companies publish a
long list of reasons for not vaccinating patients. Doctors rarely even look at
the list, let alone take any notice of it.
Here's the list of
contraindications and warnings for one vaccine selected at random: `Acute severe
febrile illness. Encephalopathy of unknown aetiology within 7 days after
previous vaccination. Progressive neurological disorder, uncontrolled epilepsy
or progressive encephalopathy. Severe local or general reaction to a preceding
dose of vaccine. History of febrile convulsions, fever, shock or persistent
crying within 48 hours of previous vaccination. Guillain-Barre syndrome or
brachial neuritis following vaccination.' Those are reasons for not giving one
particular vaccine.
Now, imagine the contraindications and possible
adverse effects when three or four vaccines are mixed together into a single
vaccine cocktail.
