Why Is Cricket Determined To Commit Suicide?

I recently quoted evidence showing that cricket is now no more popular than rugby league and only slightly more popular than greyhound racing.
Now there is evidence showing that basketball is more popular with young people than golf and cricket combined.
Oh dear.
So, what are the cricket authorities doing to rescue cricket from the doldrums?
They’re organising some international cricket matches for 2019.
That’s nice.
But you’ll pay up to £350 for a ticket.
That’s definitely not nice.
Cricket just signed its own death certificate.
Youngsters who fancy a career in a sport outside football or tennis would be well advised to choose basketball.
Or maybe greyhound racing.
