Green Coal – Another Global Warming Scam?
Vernon Coleman
Much of the so-called clean electricity being sold in the UK these days is created by burning wood. And the wood comes from America where trees are chopped down before being turned into wood pellets known as biomass and then carried across the Atlantic in large diesel powered vessels.
To describe that electricity as `green’ is a joke.
Now the global warming cultists are at it again.
As I have previously pointed out, it is traditionally impossible to make steel without coal.
But according to The Guardian there are plans afoot to manufacture steel without using coal.
So how can this be done?
Apparently the new green steel will be made using hydrogen as a fuel instead of coal.
And where does the hydrogen come from?
Well, since pure hydrogen is hard to come by it has to be produced by the electrolysis of water (which consumes a great deal of energy) or from fossil fuels.
And 95% of the hydrogen we use is made with the fossil fuels.
So, that’s how they’re going to make green coal without burning fossil fuels.
By making hydrogen by burning fossil fuels and then using the hydrogen to make the steel.
You have to laugh, don’t you?
