I’ve been reading a copy of The Cricketer magazine from 1968. It contains a full page advertisement announcing that the magazine’s latest subscriber is Field Marshall Montgomery of Alamein.
The advert contains a blow up of the War hero’s subscription form including his home address and his full bank details.
Things were different then.
That was just over 50 years ago.
Appropriately, I’ve just republished my book How to Protect and Preserve Your Freedom, Identity and Privacy as a paperback on Amazon.
Field Marshall Montgomery didn’t need a copy.
But I suspect you might.
