Britons Never Shall Be Slaves – Until Now

It is no exaggeration to say that as citizens of the European Union we are slaves.
What else do you call people who have no control over their destiny?
The EU was never about democracy or the freedom of its citizens. The intention was always to control the people of Europe through laws created by unelected bureaucrats. The European Parliament was never designed to have any power (and it hasn’t). The decisions which rule our lives (and which have done so for decades) have all been made by nameless, faceless, unaccountable, unelected bureaucrats working for the European Commission.
And what a mess they’ve made of it!
When the British people voted to leave the EU, they did so because they knew instinctively that the EU was a `bad’ organisation; they knew that they were living in George Orwell’s 1984.
But the process of leaving the EU has been deliberately made difficult by politicians and civil servants. Controlled by the EU, and showing allegiance to Brussels rather than to the British people, our Government, our Parliament and our Civil Service have all betrayed the people and are intent on selling us further into slavery.
It seems to me that if a new deal is agreed by our so-called `leaders’ then it will take away what little was left of freedom and democracy.
We will truly be slaves for evermore.
And for me the most scary thing of all is that Theresa May has already agreed that in future we will not be allowed to criticise the EU or its employees.
Our Prime Minister, our government and our parliament seem inexplicably desperate to give away the last shred of our freedom.
What the hell is going on?
Are our politicians and civil servants stupid or evil?
