Dr Jack King’s new book on doctor assisted suicide – Part Five

Dr Vernon Coleman

Note from Vernon Coleman

With Dr Jack King’s permission I am publishing extracts from his new book `Anyone who tells you that doctor-assisted suicide is always dignified and painless is lying. Here’s the proof’ which has just been published and should be available on Amazon. Dr King’s new book is the most comprehensive and detailed analysis of doctor assisted suicide/euthanasia ever published and it will no doubt be suppressed, ignored or attacked by reviewers who haven’t read it. Please encourage everyone you know to read and share these extracts and then to buy copies of Dr King’s book to send to members of the House of Lords (who will decide, probably on September 14th, whether doctor assisted suicide is to become legal in the UK), to MPs (who have already voted in favour of the new Bill but who will in due course have another chance to vote) and to journalists. The price of the paperback version of this book includes no royalties for Dr King.

If enough readers help and send copies to members of the House of Lords, we can defeat this Bill. But if not then I fear that the Bill will go through and life will never be the same again. Those who have falsely claimed that doctor assisted suicide is always painless and dignified will win. And the euthanasia legislation will go through. It will never be repealed and within five years the British State will be legally able to kill anyone who is disabled, old, poor, unemployed and depressed. They’ll kill children too. Look back over the years and you will see, I am afraid, that my predictions have been uncannily accurate about covid and many other things. I fear I’m right about this too. If you don’t fight this Bill then you will have no reason to complain when those you love become victims.

You should be able to buy a copy of `Anyone who tells you doctor-assisted suicide is always dignified and painless is lying: Here’s the proof’ by Dr Jack King, if you go to the Amazon website. Of course, there is always a chance that it will have mysteriously become `currently unavailable’.

Killing the long-term sick obviously saves a lot of money but the biggest advantage of the official ‘death by doctor’ scheme in the UK will be the billions which will be saved by cutting the pensions and benefits bills. This is the same in every country.

It is vitally important for Governments, councils and official bodies everywhere to cut pension costs. One council in Britain is reported to have already reached the point where it spends more on paying the pensions of previous employees than it takes in taxes. Scores if not hundreds of councils are either bankrupt, or on the verge of bankruptcy, because of the huge amounts of money they are required to find every year to pay the pensions of former employees. Councils everywhere are cutting back on essential services because most of their money is used to pay the pensions of former employees.

The pensions problem is not new. Back in 1988, in a book called The Health Scandal, doctor and author Vernon Coleman wrote: ‘Developed countries around the world will face bankruptcy as they struggle to find the cash to pay pensions, sick pay and unemployment benefits’.

The Government doesn’t admit this but the biggest advantage of the official ‘death by doctor’ scheme will be the billions which will be saved by cutting the pensions and benefits bills. If you kill a 20-year-old who is disabled, depressed or unemployed and living on benefits then the lifetime benefit will be measured in millions. If you kill a 65-year-old civil servant who has an inflation-proofed pension then the savings will be equally astonishing. As artificial intelligence makes an increasing number of people unemployed, so real people become more and more of an expensive luxury.

Euthanasia is being promoted world-wide and although the process always begins with some caveats, it does not take long for doctor-assisted suicide to be freely recommended to the elderly, the mentally ill, the disabled, the poor and the unemployed. That’s how the big money can be saved.

(And when younger citizens enrol for doctor assisted suicide, the transplant surgeons cheer for their unwanted organs (often in excellent condition) can be harvested while they are still alive. Organs for transplantation have to be taken from living individuals, of course.)

The Government is supporting euthanasia because the Bill is not just about killing people who are poor, unemployed or tired of waiting for an appointment with a GP but is mainly about saving money.

More than half the UK population is officially a ‘burden’ on the State – in other words they receive more money in benefits than they pay in tax. They are classified as ‘non-participating citizens and dismissed by conspirators and left wing academics as ‘useless eaters’. They are the primary target of the Government’s plan to start the mass slaughter of citizens. If you are not working, earning and paying tax then you are not contributing and by the official definition you are ‘useless’. That is the collectivist philosophy which has given birth to ‘death by doctor’.

If you are a retired civil servant, teacher, doctor, MI6 operative or bus driver then you are regarded as a useless eater the minute you stop working and start collecting your pension. (It is worth noting that in the UK, the Civil Service Pension Scheme has around 1.7 million members and a future pension benefits liability of £189 billion. So the debt for each member is £111,176. Good luck to any civil servant under 50 who thinks they’re going to get a pension.)

Killing patients isn’t about kindness. It’s about saving money and there is no doubt that killing the long-term sick saves a lot of money.

Governments can no longer afford to meet their pension obligations. Local councils cannot afford to pay what they have promised to pay. If nothing drastic is done then in a generation's time our streets will be packed with geriatric beggars pleading to be given enough money to buy a little food.

The main problem, of course, is that our governments have for years run Ponzi schemes for pensioners. The money paid in taxes and National Insurance (which many people still think is being put safely on one side for their retirement years) is being used to pay today's generation of pensioners. Pensions for tomorrow's generation of pensioners will be paid by tomorrow's generation of workers. That is a Ponzi scheme. It's crooked, dishonest and downright illegal. And the same sort of scheme is run for public sector workers. Their pensions will be paid by tomorrow's taxpayers. Tomorrow's council tax payers will pay the pensions for today's council workers. These too are Ponzi schemes and none of them is sustainable.

If you work in a public sector job and are under the age of 50, your employer will not be able to pay you a pension at all. Public sector workers will not receive the pensions they are expecting. Let me put that another way: if you work for the Government in any way, or a local council, then your chances of receiving the pension you were promised are directly related to your age. If you are over 50 then you have a chance of getting at least part of your pension. If you are under 50 you have approximately no chance of receiving the pension you were promised and are expecting. Council workers may think that they have an enforceable contract with their employers. They may think that their union will look after them. Wrong. I suspect that more councils will merely file for bankruptcy.

Much of the money paid to local councils is already spent on providing pensions for former council workers. Huge numbers of UK council workers retire on annual pensions of £80,000 or more. At least one council in Britain now pays out everything it receives in taxes as pensions to former council workers. There is nothing left over to pay current employees or to provide the services which taxpayers think they are paying for.

Central and local government officials in England are notoriously shy about revealing the figures relating to their pension debts but in America these figures are available. And those figures are scary.

Pensioners in Ohio will cost the State more than 50% of its future total tax revenues. Much the same is true of government employees in Colorado, Rhode Island and many other American states where pension benefits are projected to use up between a third and a half of total State tax revenues. Countless employees simply won't receive the pensions they thought they were entitled to. Pensions paid to public employees such as doctors and teachers aren’t secure.

Even the State pension is at risk in the UK. Governments have been running a Ponzi scheme for the State pension, and the chances of under 50s receiving a State pension are slim. If the Government cannot afford to pay out pensions then there won't be any pensions and there won't be a thing anyone can do about it. There is no contractual liability. Just hope and naive expectation.

The bizarre tax rules in the UK already punish those who have saved and put away money for the future. When citizens reach the age of 75, the tax paid by their relatives will rise enormously and there is a clear financial incentive for people in their early 70s to kill themselves or to avoid medical treatment which may keep them alive beyond the age of 75.

Many retired State employees receive more money when they retire than they received in salary when they were working. Their pensions are heavily subsidised by taxpayers. This cannot continue indefinitely.

The bottom line is that the Government cannot afford to satisfy any of its pension obligations. Many public sector pensions will not be paid out. The State pension will have to be subject to dramatic cuts. And the age at which it is paid will have to rise dramatically. The nation will go bankrupt if we continue to try to pay out State pensions as we do at the moment.

Doctor assisted suicide is an essential solution to the Government’s financial problem. The more people who can be persuaded to volunteer for euthanasia the easier the Governments burden will become.
