I read somewhere that a policeman has complained that motorists don’t always obey motorway warning signs.
Well, here’s a helpful hint – offered in the right spirit.
How about turning off the warnings when they are no longer valid or necessary?
I’ve seen motorway warnings and speed limits left switched on for many hours (and in some cases probably days) after they should have been switched off.
The result is that motorists don’t always believe what the signs say.
